Right... Actually, now that you say that, it seems really weird that they got it in here! I wonder if there's some kind of magic going on with it. Like, if it's bigger on the inside of the room. It's gotta be, right?
It has to be! Or it's a weird kind of portal that looks like a normal door? That's in tons of movies! That kind of explains why all our rooms can be so different, too.
[ he gives a little, involuntary shudder. ]
...Is it just me, or does it feel like we're being followed?
I think someone's def keeping tabs on us while we're in the hotel. They'd have to, if they want to use us for entertainment. But still, all this magical stuff is kind of nuts. It's way more intense than the prism.
Only in stories, or stuff like corn mazes. But those are just for fun, and they don't usually have something following you. That kind of thing's only fun if you agreed to it, like a haunted house.
None whatsoever! That's something else that's only in stories, so I always find it really cool that there are so many worlds out there that do have it. It makes me wonder if mine is actually the exception.
Nope, it's mostly for funsies! I just like seeing the world, you know? But I've def traveled for the Mankai Company, too, so that's sort of work related.
Hm... That's a good question! I think, if I had to choose... maybe France? It's soooooo picturesque, totally Instablammable, and I love visiting all the cafes and museums. The art they have out there is worlds apart from what I usually do, but it's absolutely gorgeous.
Yeah, that exactly! Art museums are always my faves, but I like history museums and stuff, too. You can learn so much they don't always teach you in class!
Like details about how normal people lived their lives, not just the higher class. You can learn more about the things they wore, or how they cooked, or made clothes - stuff like that! And sometimes there are letters or diaries that people found; it's really cool!
And with art, it's about learning more about the materials and techniques they used. A lot of them fell out of practice, but trying to preserve those methods, or at least keep good records of them, is a huge thing.

Maybe we should walk a little faster?

[he picks up the pace as well, but keeps talking to distract himself from the increasingly unpleasant feeling of being tracked.]

Right... But no magic in general either, right? I can't really imagine that.
