Me too, me too! It's interesting to see what the hotel thinks we'd all like.

Mm, that would make sense! Whatever magic they have here may just affect the hotel. Still, it's kind of sad if he has to stay cooped up inside the whole time we're here.

Right? Actually, it's more than a little bit creepy how well it knows us, but I am choosing not to think about that for the moment.

[he nods.]

It'd be worse if he was stuck in here at his normal size, but still... Hopefully some more areas are going to open up soon and he'll get to explore.

Mm, I guess I'm kind of used to that from the prism! It did the same kind of thing, drawing inspiration from us while we were there.

Think we can put in a request at the front desk for it?

[agleam]

Oh - you're from the same place as Marie, then?

[he shrugs, with a laugh.]

I mean, I guess that probably couldn't hurt.

Sure am! Selkie, too.

I was going to check with them about getting a toothbrush and stuff, too. Might as well check for Porridge, too! [ ... ] Wait, they've got food for him, too, right? What do dragons eat?

[agleam]

Selkie...?

[he sounds confused as he asks that, but then he frowns.]

Oh, yeah, he can eat almost anything. I can get stuff from the restaurant and give it to him. Just, uh, not chicken.

The tall guy!

Good, good! No need to worry about him, then. What's wrong with chicken, though? I mean, it's probs a good thing if he won't eat it with Bobchansan around, but still.

[agleam]

Oh! Is that his name? I've seen him around, it's pretty hard to miss him, but I haven't talked to him yet.

[yells in notifs but also he makes a face]

Yeah, he seemed... Very interested when he saw her, so I'm putting him on a strict no chicken diet starting now. And also keeping a close eye on him whenever he's out of the room.

It's a nickname! He's not fond of them, though, just as a warning.

Ahhh, I see! We should probs keep an eye on her, too, then. Or make her a nice little chicken coop where she'll be safe!

Ohh, got it. I will make sure not to call him Selkie to his face.

[he nods, though, perking up.]

That's a really good idea! We can make it look like a little mansion...

That'd be supes adorbs! You don't think Porridge would get jealous, though, would you? He might be able to stay with you and all, but maybe he'd want a place that's all his, too.

Ooh, that's a good point...

[he bends down a little bit to address porridge.]

What do you think, little guy? Should we build you a little castle, too?

It's only fair if we do! Hey, maybe we can ask for supplies at the front desk, too? There's got to be something around here we can use!

Ooh, that's a good plan! Now we only need to find someone who knows how to build something like that...

There's like forty of us, right? Somebody's got to know how to build things!

Yeah! Maybe we can ask around...

Why not? Even if no one knows how to build one, we can still give it try if someone's willing to lend a hand. It's just wire and wood, right? It can't be that complicated.

Yeah! Maybe some nails and glue, too, but nothing that extensive.

[he assumes, like a fool]

Right! As long as we can get all that stuff, it shouldn't be that hard.

...I guess the problem is actually getting that stuff.

Maybe once our hosts or guides or whatever show up, we can ask them... Honestly, I kind of assumed they'd be here today, but I guess we have to wait a little bit longer.

[which makes him frown for a brief moment, but.]

I did, too... It's a little weird no one's shown up yet. They must be super busy.

But hey, maybe we'll have the weekly games again! Someone always showed up for those, so we could ask then, too. Or maybe leave a note at the lobby desk?

[agleam]

Oh - that's true! I hope you're right about that...

[he nods.]

I don't know if a note would work, but trying definitely can't hurt now that we have paper. Just something like, hey, can you at least respond to this message so I know we aren't totally alone here apart from the weird shadows in the courtyard?

Worth a shot! Have you tried talking to the shadows, though? Maybe they just need a friendly face.

Either way, it'll at least let them know we're looking for something. We still need toothbrushes, for one.

[agleam]

Oh, yeah, I have. [why] They don't respond at all, though.

[there's a nod.]

Yeah. Showers were obvious the more pressing thing, so I'm really glad we got those, but - it's not like that's all we're going to need.

Oh. That's disappointing.

[ pspspspspsps shadows we just wanna be friends ]

God, I know! And we only have to share with one person! We only had one shower for forty people for the first week in the prism - it was a total nightmare!

Those little toiletries won't last long, though... But if it's anything like a normal hotel, they should be able to provide that stuff without much trouble.
