I'm what's called a "Child of the Full Moon." I was born with a power that's been passed down through my family. I was able to use it to heal, but to the world... that power is a poison.
Someone found a way to control it for his own purposes... and in doing so, he could control me.
Yeah... I get that. [ he smiles. ] It's really good that you have friends like that. You're really lucky to have them. I bet it would have made them sad to lose you for real, too.
