I wonder if that's what the clue meant... I really wasn't sure what to make of it at all.

They said it was the frame that was important, not the picture, didn't they? So it was eight the star design or... a frame job.

Either way... now we'll probably have to keep an eye on everyone for anything weird. If it's anything like the prism, the shadows won't just go away because whoever was affected is free from this week's trial and execution. That's what I'm worried about.

I really hope nothing will happen... but you're right, we should be careful.

... You said that if someone was "refracting," people had to find them and help them, but... how? What could be done to help?

...A lot of it was based on luck. [ he sounds apologetic. ] There was one person who had a special ability to help who was refracting, but they had to know who it was. Besides that and dying, the only other way we knew of was to draw a gumball that could fix refracting. But you had to have enough tokens and the right color to get it, so it only happened once.

I don't know if we have options like those here. Maybe some items in the gift shop, but you never know what those do until you buy them, right?

Right... Maybe I'll try buying something next week, just to see.

It would be nice if there turns out to be something that can help everyone...

Mm, I was thinking of giving it a shot, since I have enough tickets now. Maybe the room service stuff, too. It might be harder to get something useful from the gift shop, though, with all of us getting more tickets now.

But it's still worth trying! Especially if something could help out. Like, Gemi has that vote power, you know?

Yes... It might be a tight race for the limited items.

A lot of the room service powers sound... kind of dangerous, but some of them could be really useful if we have them ready when the need arises.

Mmhm. But if we want to keep trying, we can always pool tickets later? They don't have any issues with that.

I know what you mean, though. I don't know if I could actually use half of them? Or if I'd even want to. But illusions, like they were talking about today - that's kind of like the power I had in the prism, so something like that wouldn't be so bad.

...I've been wondering what we have to do for them, though. Like, if they're really useful, why haven't more people gone for them?

It's taken me a while because it just feels like such a big decision... We can only get two in total, after all.

Yeah, same. And, like - are they only for a one-time use, or not? I think I'll try asking more about it once I talk to Gemi. It's been kind of unclear so far, IMO.

Oh! I asked about that, actually. They're all single-use.

I didn't know until today that most can't be used during trials, though.

Ohh, good to know! That really does make it harder to pick, doesn't it...?

I wonder if it's best to just have something just in case? It'd be hard to plan ahead for anything specific, but - you know. Probs better to have something, even if it isn't perfect, right?

That's what I'm starting to think. They give out a limited amount both weekly and in total, too, so if you wait too long, the power you want could become unavailable.

And you have to do a task to obtain one, so if you wait until the need arises, you won't have it ready in time.

That's true, too... I wonder if you can just hold onto the power until you need it once it's earned, or if it's on a time limit? I'll have to ask later.

This is way harder to consider than the gumballs.
