Oh! So we all had primary and complementary colors in the prism, right? Each one came with a different kind of magic! My primary was Heliotrope, so I could make illusions with it. Kumopi's was Amber, so he could make items that were warm and soothing - stuff like that!
You bet it was! I had sooo much fun with the illusions - it would have been great to be able to use it on stage, too!
[ his smile turns a little wistful, but he nods. ]
He's a friend from home, and an actor, just like me. We're both part of Mankai Company's Summer Troupe. It's kind of like an extended family, you know?
The Summer Troupe's specialty is comedies, so we're the ones you go to see if you want to laugh until you can hardly breathe. And we change shows up now and then with ad-libs, just to keep things fresh and keep the laughs coming. The audience eats it right up every time!
Maybe you can sometime! After we're done with everything here, you should totes come visit Mankai Company! I love it when friends come and see our shows. I could get you a ticket with the VIP treatment and everything!
[ if he keeps inviting people their yakuza is going to strangle him but that's. fine. it's a problem for future kazunari. ]
Right, though?! I had no idea it would be so hard when I first started! We had to do this whole training camp just to get into decent shape for our first show!
There's nothing wrong with ad-libs if it fits in the scene. I bet you got tons of laughs, too, right? [ he's trying to picture her on stage... ] It makes it all the hard work worthwhile as long as the audience is having fun.
It doesn't have to be! The whole point of performing is to entertain the audience. If they're happy, everyone else should be, too, even if it isn't perfect.
Doesn't the energy just draw you in, though? It makes it so much easier to get into character!

I tried acting in a play once, just as a fill-in... It's a lot harder than it looks! We ended up ad-libbing a lot... hehe.
