He has been checking his calendar, too, snickering to himself once he started to reach the later quotes. They're getting bizarre!]

[Being surrounded by water always brings November's mind to ease. Water means he's capable of attacking at the drop of a hat, so he always welcomes it in any way. Perhaps that's why he has gravitated to the hot springs often, even if he doesn't always go into the water.

Greeting Kazunari with a friendly smile, the question catches him a bit by surprise]

I suppose this refers to the party games from earlier.

[ feels great to be an artist again! as of yesterday, there's a canvas with a full sketch prepped in the art room, and today, kazunari is mixing some paint to get started. ]

Hey, Novimi! Back to give your budding art career another shot?

Indeed I am. Although I should warn you my budding career has faced a severe downgrade in quality, since the week started.

[At least November seems to be a decent sport about it, although truthfully he's a tad disappointed he lost all of the artistic skill he had felt a bit boastful about. Alas]

NBD, my man! Art isn't about being perfect all the time, anyway! You just have to follow the vibes and do what feels right, and if you're happy doing it, it'll still show through!

November had seen Kazunari a moment earlier, and had left without saying a word. Now that he was back, he just tossed a can of baja blast mountain dew at him again. Is he just going to keep tossing this stuff at Kazunari every time he sees him? Who knows]

Danny is too impulsive for his own good. Someone has to rein him in -- and of course he'll get upset at anyone trying to.

[It really makes November glad he can have a 100% objective thought process, with no emotion. Seeing what others do when their emotions get involved is a reminder Contractors are lucky on this regard, in his opinion]

[ damn okay. he's absolutely not expecting this, so he barely blocks it from hitting him, fumbles the can, and barely manages to catch it. ]

[ back to their favorite hangout: the art room. kazunari is busy at work here, hands already covered in paint, but he looks up as november enters to offer a faint smile. ]

Hey. Still trying to tap into your inner artist, Novimi?

[November, who has been staring at the canvas, seems to find the question hilarious]

Yes. Unfortunately the inner artist refuses to come. I don't know how others manage to paint anything at all.

...I wish I could explain it better. It's always been kind of easy for me, since I first started. It helps me think.

How did you get started with this, then? Tell me about that.

[Logic states that what worked for others perhaps will work for him. In the end November is still almost a total beginner, so he asks that question, yup]

So, any ideas for how to stop this pyscho? It sounded like using color just made him stronger.

I'm not sure yet. He has hidden any weaknesses so far, but what I do have clear is that anything that will result in the residents' being killed should be avoided.

[Mostly because that doesn't seem like something that'd stop Dreamer at all, but also, that probably would lower morale and push some people closer to total refraction, he's sure]

Anything we can do to avoid that would be the ideal. We never did figure out how to save anyone who was that far gone, though.

We didn't, but we do know avoiding death isn't impossible. Recall Percy and Clarte survived despite being about to be executed.

[It's not that much of a lead, but it's something!]
