Yeah, I'm an art major. I draw all the time.

I thought theatre was your preferred form of expression.

[dms]

Well, I do like theater, but it wasn't my first choice? I sort of stumbled into it. But I've been drawing and painting since I was a kid.

Nothing wrong with having a bunch of media you like, though! And acting is just another form of art.

So could it be that you would struggle after such a brief period of pause?

Not really... It was fine over the weekend, but today it's...

[ shrug. ]

Probs just gotta keep at it. It'll come back to me in no time!

Have you brought it up with one of those four?

[dms]

Huh? No, why would I? It's not their problem.

[furrier]

Aren't they meant to guide us?

[dms]

Yeah, I guess... but it'll be pretty embarrassing to bring it up to them if it's really just an off day.

[furrier]

[ shrugs ]

Uh... Okay. I'm not really used to people watching me draw, though.

[ but that's. fine? hm. once he finds a new page, and puts pen to paper... it actually starts out okay! looks like he's drawing a couple of cats, but about halfway through, his lines start to go off-kilter. something about their faces are off, and their bodies look more like a kindergarten drawing than a professional, with no sense to the lines.

kazunari, always smiling, actually looks a little frustrated. ]

...It's been like this all day. Sometimes I can draw, sometimes I just... can't. I don't know why.

[ ok first of all he didn't think garou could or would find anything cute in this entire world

Thanks, I guess? [ haha... ] I'm usually a lot better at it than this, though. I don't know what's going on... but maybe I'm just developing a new talent for the avant garde?

[furrier]

It could be that being forcibly taken to a new world with no clue of how to return to your former life has affected your abilities.

[ trauma art? ]

[ wrinkles his nose. ]

...Maybe. Tons of peeps say that different experiences change your art, but, like... usually for the better, I think? Not whatever this is.

[ he's reaching his limit of being normal ]

I'm not an artist. You should search for inspiration or some shit.

You ever tried?

[ doubtful, but he's curious! ]

That's the plan! It won't change a ton if my skills aren't up to snuff, but it's worth a shot.

[ he briefly contemplates saying something edgey like "the only painting i do is with the blood of my enemies."

I haven't done art since grade school. Is it your profession or something?

Sure is! I've been studying art for years! That's why this is so weird, you know? I'm literally a pro.

[furrier]

[ looks at his drawing

sure... you're a pro ]

I thought that was for acting.

[dms]

I do both, but art came first. Art was always my number one goal since I started drawing. If I hadn't been invited to audition at Mankai last year, I probably wouldn't have started acting at all.

[furrier]

[ he's learning so much... ]

You're really not well suited for the dangers of this place.

[dms]

[ checks the date on this pc and laughs ]

You mean what happened at the party yesterday? It sounded like that was a fluke, though, so it should be fine.

[furrier]
