It's clear he's cleaned up at some point after the execution, and any bags or redness that would have been around his eyes is dutifully covered with a heavy hand of concealer. He's nowhere near Roxana's levels of being able to project only what he wants to - yesterday showed that clear enough - but he's still not going to let himself appear as anything less than what he's comfortable with, after all of that.

[ meanwhile kazu seems have to transformed even more, with black cat ears and a tail in addition to the usual swirls of paint down his arms and hands. he does offer kashuu a smile and a nod, though! ]

[Oh... He looks a little surprised by that! And there's a pulse of red shimmering through the scales that can be seen - which aren't many, since he's wearing actual gloves today and a scarf that covers most of his neck. But after a second, he'll return the hug, careful and delicate compared to his usual ones. But he's still feeling a little delicate, himself.
After a couple of seconds of silent consideration, he simply says:]

He's glad that Yasusada had survived that encounter, even if he's not glad Meteion died or refracted in the first place. He just wants them all to get out of here alive and in one piece, even if they'll surely carry the scars from this place and what they've been put through well into the future.]
I'm glad they aren't alone, wherever they are. It's not much, but at least there's that.
